Not every catheter site is easy to dress. Awkward angles, high-movement areas, and bulky access devices can all make standard flat dressings a poor fit. The Contour SorbaView® Shield was built for exactly these situations — its contoured shape conforms naturally to the body while the integrated securement system keeps the catheter locked in place, no secondary device required.

The built-in delnet webbing grips the patient's skin and holds firm against multi-directional tugging forces, significantly reducing the risk of unscheduled dressing changes from everyday movement. The nonsensitizing adhesive is gentle enough for extended wear — up to 7 days on central lines and up to 96 hours for peripheral catheters, or until clinically indicated.

A breathable transparent window lets your team assess the insertion site at a glance without lifting the dressing, while the barrier film helps keep external bacteria out. The patient label on the back of the Shield makes identification fast and straightforward. And for sites with BIOPATCH protective discs or bulky needles, the adhesive-free zone means the dressing won’t bond where it shouldn’t.
