That's useful when you need precise control over a secondary infusion or when the patient's condition requires a slower, more deliberate rate.
The Clearlink luer activated valve sits 6 inches from the male luer lock adapter at the distal end. It opens when a male luer is connected and closes when removed — no needle required, no open port between accesses. The 3.3 mL priming volume is low enough to minimize dead space without sacrificing line length. Not made with natural rubber latex.
