The BD Vacutainer 367921 contains 5.0 mg sodium fluoride and 4.0 mg potassium oxalate. The fluoride inhibits glycolysis so glucose levels stay stable from draw to analysis, and the oxalate handles anticoagulation. It's a 2 mL tube, which works well for patients who can't give much.
